What is it made of?
Blankets are 100% cotton, woven in the USA at a family-owned mill in North Carolina and OEKO-TEX® certified. Your design is woven into the fabric with colored yarns, not printed on top, so it won’t crack, peel or fade like a print. Each one is finished with a fringe edge. Journals have a vegan leather cover, 200 lined pages, a ribbon bookmark and an elastic closure.
How do I care for my blanket?
Your blanket arrives pre-washed and pre-shrunk. Machine wash cold, then tumble dry low. Don’t use bleach. Woven cotton gets softer with every wash. For journals, wipe the cover with a soft, damp cloth.
Will the colors match the photo exactly?
Very close, but not always exact. Your design is woven from a set palette of cotton yarns, so each color is matched to the nearest yarn shade, and very fine details are softened slightly by the weave. Screens also show color differently. That subtle, textured look is part of what makes a woven blanket feel like an heirloom.
Which size should I choose?
37" x 52" is a lap or baby size, perfect for the nursery, the stroller or a reading chair. 50" x 60" is a classic throw for the sofa. 60" x 80" is our largest, big enough to share or to drape across the foot of a bed. Sizes are approximate. Journals measure 5.8" x 8.5".
Can I hang it on the wall?
Yes, many customers display theirs as wall art. Lay it flat and steam or iron on low to remove creases, hold it up to find the right height, then use decorative tapestry tacks: three along the top edge and three along the bottom to keep it flat and even.
How long will it take?
Every order is made just for you. Production takes 2–5 days, then your order ships; you'll see shipping options and estimated delivery at checkout. Ordering for a date? Order early so it arrives in time.
Can I return it?
Because every blanket and journal is made to order and personalized, we can't accept returns or exchanges, so please check names, dates and spelling before you check out. If something is our fault, like a defect or a production error, we'll remake it for free. Just email us your order number and a photo of the issue.
