Every Kiwi Lake blanket begins with a simple belief: life's biggest moments deserve something beautiful enough to hold them.
How We Started
Born from a Moment Worth Keeping
Kiwi Lake is named for my sweet daughter, whose nickname is Kiwi. Every blanket we make is designed the way I'd want a gift for her to be: personal, beautiful and made to last long enough to hand down.
Because the gifts that matter most, for a new baby, a wedding, a new home or a goodbye, are always the hardest ones to find. We wanted something you'd keep forever and still reach for years from now, not another thing destined for a drawer.
So we set out to make the keepsake we wanted to give: a blanket with your names and dates woven right into the cotton, made to be used every day and still be on the couch twenty years from now.
Kiwi Lake is a small, independent shop. Every design is created here, and every blanket is woven to order, one at a time, at a family-owned mill in North Carolina that has been weaving since 1988.

What Makes a Kiwi Lake Blanket
Woven in North Carolina
100% cotton, woven at a family-owned, solar-powered mill in North Carolina. OEKO-TEX® certified, soft, breathable and made to be used, not saved for special occasions.
Woven, Not Printed
Your names, dates and design are woven into the fabric with colored cotton yarns, so there's nothing on the surface to crack, peel or fade the way a printed blanket can.
Made for Everyday Life
Pre-shrunk, machine washable and finished with a fringe edge. It gets softer with every wash. The heirlooms that get handed down are the ones that were loved and used, so we design them to be.

How Each Blanket Comes to Life
You Make It Yours
Choose a design from our collections (new baby, wedding, memorial, lake house, cabin, faith, Irish heritage and more), then add your names, dates or place. Double-check the spelling: we weave exactly what you type.
We Weave It
Your design is turned into a weaving pattern and woven in cotton on a jacquard loom in North Carolina, then finished with fringe. Production takes 2–5 days.
